What to Look for when buying a Suit
Current Style: The most popular suit at the moment is one with a two button single breasted jacket, with side vents and flat front trousers.
Do your homework: get a feel of what a good quality suit is going to cost and what style is current now and for the years to come. Here at Suits on Broadway we’re not afraid to let you shop around, as then you will truly appreciate the quality and value we have to offer. A quality pure wool suit at Suits on Broadway can range from $599 to $1500. The average price for a quality New Zealand made suit is $700-$900.
Sizing: Suits on Broadway have an extensive range of ready made suits available, you can leave the fitting and sizing to us. To make sizing easy, think of suits on the rack as a blank canvas for us to work with, different brands offer different fits, and sizing is just a number. Most suits will require minor alterations, mostly on the trousers. Shortening hems and altering waists is typical and can be done relatively quickly.
There are 3 different fits within the size [Short, Regular or Tall]. Our sizes start at 84cm to136cm, and we also offer Made to Measure suits for any size.
